SuperQi - Redefining the Wireless Charging Standard
Worked in a team of 4, on R&D group consultancy project for spin-out company, Bumblebee Power
Formulated project timeline and kept track of progress using Gantt chart on Trello
Designed high-frequency transmitter PCB design (class D inverter-based) using Altium Designer
Investigated and designed high Q-factor wireless coils for low coupling factor, high efficiency IPT link
Delivered a high-efficiency 3.39MHz wireless charging system, with improved tolerance to misalignment

Worked on memory, instruction-set architecture, and top-level design of CPU
Established team roles using Belbin Inventory, devised Gantt chart for project scheduling and implemented GitHub and Microsoft Teams for maintaining version control and communications
Delivered an efficient CISC-based CPU capable of surpassing functional requirements through Linear Congruential Number Generation, Linked List Search and Recursive Fibonacci benchmarks
Led a team of 3 on Drive subsystem and developed PV battery charging station for Rover
Scheduled project timeline and managed progress using Gantt chart & Critical Path Analysis techniques
Formulated PID-based closed-loop drive controller algorithm in software, forming subsystem basis
Established SPI protocol communication between ESP32 microcontroller & optical flow instrumentation
Designed & implemented efficient MPPT algorithm for PV-SMPS integration using Arduino
Employed PID control with relay system to produce stable, efficient power supply for rover charging
Helped deliver a working fully autonomous rover, winning “best Energy subsystem” and 3rd place overall
